I've heard, the use of oral contraceptives may cause excessive inhibition, leading to ovarian no response. Why do some women still in the test tube baby treatment using oral contraceptives before IVF?

Some patients taking oral contraceptives is intended to adjust the menstrual cycle. It does not cause excessive suppression, because once you start using ovulation drugs, follicle will begin to grow. Oral contraceptives will only slow down the reaction time.

In addition, to help in the treatment of oral contraceptives suppress ovulation cycle before, so that the common follicle development, which is used in the pre-ovulatory follicles did not mature and the other, only to produce a high-quality follicles. Egg development and ovulation in the ovary, is a hormone to stimulate the brain regions (hypothalamus, hormone responsible for controlling the signal). Through the use of contraceptives with estrogen cut off the (brain it passed to the development of ovarian eggs and ovulation) signal. Without these signals, the egg will not mature and ovulation, and thus will not be pregnant.

In addition to progesterone in birth control pills and tubal mucosal thickening of the cervix, making it difficult the sperm and egg into the uterus into the fallopian tube difficult.
Changes in the progesterone pill endometrium, thereby preventing implantation. When used for birth control, the use of oral contraceptives can inhibit ovarian and make it "quiet." This means that in the treatment cycle, all the follicles are in the same stage of development. This will prevent the "leading follicle" generation, so that the more mature follicles at the same time.

Oral contraceptives do not have a negative impact on fertility. There is no evidence that short-term effects of oral contraceptives in addition to any other but also have side effects. If someone taking the pill a long time, there is no reason to stop taking their medication after a period of time to wait before starting infertility treatment. In fact, stop the medication immediately after the treatment cycle is very beneficial. Many people believe that birth control pills will "over-suppression." For some women, birth control pills may be higher than the inhibitory effect of its patients, but its only result is that it may take longer to achieve the level of the hormone to stimulate and produce results acceptable level.
